Christmas calligraphy workshop

Saturday 6th December 10am - 12pm

£60 per person Location: Fisherton Mill Gallery, Salisbury

Come and learn the beautiful art of Modern Calligraphy with a festive theme!

You will start by understanding the basics of how to use the nib with simple exercises learning to create thick and thin strokes, then applying these techniques to working your way through the alphabet creating letterforms in calligraphy. You will then learn to join letters and write words in a modern calligraphy style with lots of guidance and demonstrations from myself.

Towards the end of the session you will apply your new skills to create some beautiful personalised Christmas tags and cards!

The class includes for each participant to take away: pot of ink, calligraphy pen, clipboard, worksheets, and Christmas tags and cards that we will make towards the end of the workshop.
